More mountainbiking trails needed ASAP!

Carrabassett is a great place to ride but the lack of maintained singletrack remains at best frustrating. All the cross country trails sit unmaintained and unridden by anyone without a machete. Now they have the hut system trails being built by the WMF and it will be cross country skiing in the winter and MTNbiking in the summer and hiking on these trails.

Now if there is an already established system of single track trails already in the valley then alot of the people travelling the HUT system trail will hang in town for a few days and explore. If we sit and do nothing like always, the winter cross country thing will work great but the mtn bikers will just keep on riding to the next hut if there are no decent trails in the area. If this happens the summer users and the local economy will lose out in the end.

CV Needs to build a nice cozy ifrastructure of trails for the people to get lost in and enjoy. and also maybe try to make this round of touring center rennovations the best possible.

SOme great work is being done already by the CV trails comittee and namely Josh T. GREAT WORK JOSH!

Trails & Ales MTB club sponsered by the rack anyone?
