This event is the epitome of what it means to be part of the Sugarloaf community, whether for a day, a weekend, a season, a lifetime or anything in between or beyond. For this 3rd generation Sugarloafer who doesn’t get the spend as much time there as I would like in my current stage of life, it was an unforgettable day.

Let’s face it, Mother Nature handed the northeast a shit sandwich this week, yet the underlying spirit of support and community of this event endured. Huge kudos to anyone who skied between Midnight and 5am on Friday morning, I hear it was pretty brutal. By Friday night people seemed pretty much ready to be done, after a job well done raising over $900k for WinterKids.

Thanks to everyone who came out for a “Ski with Scotty” run yesterday. I have skied some pretty amazing days and runs at the loaf over the years, but yesterday’s run was the best by far.

We so appreciate the sugarloaf community in general and everyone else who participates in and supports the DH24 for being so authentically inclusive and supportive of kids of all abilities. Recap at the links if you are interested. #gratitude
