About this project

The past 5 years have been an incredible journey.

We have performed over 200 gigs a year from Maine to Texas, bringing us countless memorable evenings spent celebrating our music with our fans. We have met you, we have heard you, and we want to celebrate all the good times and great music we’ve shared.

We have recorded a studio record, a live album, an EP and several singles, but there are many songs that we play live every night that our fans love but have never been recorded. There are also others that were recorded during the early years of the band that we would love to re-record with a full backing band.

We want to release a "best of” package for the fans who have supported us and gave us the courage to keep up with our busy schedule of touring and writing music.

In late October, Jay will moving to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue more songwriting opportunities. North of Nashville will still go on stronger than ever though we will be entering a new chapter in the band's journey.

As we move forward, this album will be a time piece defining the very best of what our band has to offer. (See below for track listing)

Since these are the band's best songs, we want to do them the justice they deserve. We will be recording right here in the great state of Maine at The Halo with Jonathan Wyman, backed by some of the best session players our state has to offer as our studio band. Recording begins this September, and we are aiming for a full album release in December.

This is where we need your help.

We have pooled together the funds for much of the recording, but the project is more ambitious than what we can afford on our own. We need the help with professional mixing, mastering, album art work, packaging and duplication of the record.

You have been a part of our history and have been the inspiration of many of our songs. You've believed in us for such a long time and we're forever grateful for the support. Please help us give you a product we're all proud of.

Back our project by clicking on the green button below, and help us create this vision!

Thank you.

Risks and challenges

We have a top notch team in place for all aspects of the production process. The biggest challenge will be making sure that our we hit all our deadlines to allow for our goal December release. Worst case scenario, the release gets pushed back a month.

Because we will be living in different states, scheduling all the rewards will be a specific task, but we've spent the last 5 years making commitments thousands of miles away so we're certainly up for the challenge.
