The end is near

grooming season is over. sections of trails near the river or with direct south / west sun have melted to forest floor. several places exist where you must walk the bike over soft ground. But vast majority of trails still extremely ridable... though the end is near.

Meade is almost toast, even w/ more snow it's the sun that takes it down. too close to river. maybe another week before they close it. two by miracle.
Goldenrod toast, side adjacent to logging field is gone. protected side rather nice, but dead end now. also logging field to oak knoll area is open ground.
mike's is rather nice in spots when frozen, but will be gone soon. some walking required.
Crockertown in best shape, also highest of these trails
Sargent in ok shape. rocks coming through.
ford is good, south exit melted.

bike at night or early am or it will be shitty. if this winter mix freezes nicely it buys time.
i found my soul on the ripsaw skin track
