Demo Bindings

Postby Skimaine » Mon Dec 01, 2014 3:21 pm

My grown-up daughter needs a new set of skis. We ski the same length but not the same boot size. I was thinking about getting the Blizzard Brahma for her and then I could use them as well when she is not around. I am no binding expert, but are there demo bindings available that would be a reasonable solution or is this just an idiotic idea.

Demo bindings could work.

How big a difference between boot sole lengths? The reason I ask is that there is a theory on womens skis and binding mounts that states that average womens bindings should be mounted forward relative to average men due to the different center of mass of women vs. men. If the difference is within the range of adjustment of a normal binding, she might be only slightly forward of boot center. Just another thought.
